"Darryl has been a blessing to our organization. He has only been with Inner City Bliss for 9 months and has completely reshaped our fundraising efforts. In 4 years we only received one grant for a total of $10,000. Within 5 months of being on our team we have received $50k in funding. Darryl has helped us set up a very detailed fundraising development plan. We went from submitting 1-2 proposals in a year to submitting 2-3 proposals per month. Darryl has great research skills and is an excellent writer. Darryl has a knack for writing proposals that capture the essence of our mission at Inner City Bliss. His positive attitude and gentle spirit makes him very easy to work with. If you are a startup non-profit looking to sustain your business, you should strongly consider hiring Darryl. My only regret is that I didn't reach out for help 3-4 years ago" - Andre Humphrey, Founder (Inner City Bliss).

Believe in Students is the nation’s only non-profit organization built to help college students meet those basic living expenses. We do this work by providing resources directly to students to help meet their basic needs, and then by engaging those same students in sharing their stories to help create change. When students tell us what they need – we believe them.

1.) Identifying grant opportunities in alignment with nonprofit's mission and programs

2.) Develop grant writing template, writing and submitting proposals

3.) Managing grant prospect portfolio in Asana

"About a year ago I identified a need for some grant writing support, but it took me a long time to find the time to conduct a search, and honestly, I had some fear about making a big investment in the wrong person -- not only the financial output, but the time I would need to spend helping them get up to speed on our work, knowing it would take some time to pay off. Luckily, I found a great partner in Darryl Lewis! Darryl has brought experience, creativity, and an appropriately aggressive approach to our grant-seeking efforts -- plus, he's just a terrific person! He's currently taking new clients, too, so if you are looking for support, I highly recommend his services" - Traci Kirtley, Executive Director (Believe in Students).
